WHO we are

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

Alliance High School is a top national school in Kenya offering 8.4.4. curriculum started in 1926 by the Alliance of Protestant Churches – The Church of Scotland Mission (later known as the Presbyterian Church of East Africa or PCEA), Church of the Province of Kenya (CPK) (later known as the Anglican Church of Kenya), African Inland Church (AIC), the Friends Church (Quakers) and the Methodist Church.  The school was one of the first schools in Kenya to offer secondary school education to Africans. It is located approximately 22 kilometres from the Capital city, Nairobi, 10-minute walk from the Alliance Girls’ High School, the sister school started later in 1948 and about 2km from Kikuyu town.

Being a public school, the students are allocated to the school by the Ministry of Education through Merit and Choice. 

A student has to choose the school at his primary candidate class and has to achieve he required score.
